Marie-Ange Bunga, born in The Congo, was a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School and the founder of the Harvard Congo Initiative. After graduation in 2010 she returned to the Congo to help with that nation's ongoing struggles with war, education, healthcare and economic degradation.

Tragically in 2013, she contracted malaria and died. Her classmates are paying tribute to her life and work and commitment to The Congo with a fundraising effort featuring the music of her friends and classmates singer/songwriter Allison Shapira and comedian Jimmy Tingle.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend this inspiring, uplifting and fun event celebrating the life and work of our classmate and friend Marie-Ange Bunga.

Proceeds to benefit Marie-Ange's work in The Congo.
